About Me

I'm a news associate at The Wall Street Journal. I enjoy reading and writing about housing, health care delivery and big data, though rarely in combination. I previously worked at the Center for Advancing Health Policy Through Research, a health care research center. You can find my work in The Wall Street Journal, Health Affairs, JAMA, The Boston Globe, Gothamist, TK.

I went to Brown Universiy, where I switched through seven majors before settling on statistics and public health. This had little bearing on my experience, because I spent most of my time in research labs and at my school paper.

I grew up on Long Island and now live in Brooklyn. In my free time, I co-run a free summer research program for high school students.
